Successful Factory Acceptance Test for Ambuklao HPP for SN Aboitiz Power

SN Aboitiz Power, a leading renewable energy player in the Philippines, has once again chosen Enerquip as a supplier in its efforts to strengthen its hydropower infrastructure. Following the successful delivery of the TRCM Thor in 2019 – our largest machine to date – which was installed at Binga HPP in 2020 and has been operating flawlessly since, the company has chosen to expand the partnership.

In October 2024, SN Aboitiz Power ordered a new TRCM machine for the Ambuklao Hydroelectric Power Plant (HPP), including stoplogs and var gates. This marks an important milestone in our joint work for increased efficiency and sustainable power generation. The stoplogs and var gates were designed by Norconsult, and we look forward to another successful installation and operation.
