Enerquip is a Norwegian technology supplier and specialist in customized gate cleaners and mechanical solutions for hydropower and waterway infrastructure. With roots in Eiken Mekaniske and a long tradition in the mechanical industry, we combine solid craftsmanship with modern engineering and innovative technology.
Our history is based on decades of experience in Norwegian industry and hydropower. In 2008, the first gate cleaner was developed and built – the result of practical experience, in-depth understanding of Nordic conditions, and a clear need for more robust and reliable solutions than the standard market could offer. This was the beginning of what is now Enerquip.
Since then, we have developed advanced trash rack cleaners, also known as Trash Rack Cleaning Machines (TRCM), as well as other specialized mechanical equipment for demanding facilities. All our solutions are developed and manufactured in Norway, with Norwegian design and Norwegian engineers who are familiar with the climate, ice conditions, water flow, and operational challenges in the Nordic region.
At Enerquip, no two facilities are alike. That is why we develop each solution in close collaboration with the customer – from concept and design to production, installation, and commissioning. Our products are customized for situations where standard solutions are not sufficient, and where reliable operation, long service life, and low maintenance requirements are crucial.
