Balder XL – our largest mobile gate cleaner.

Balder XL is Enerquip's largest mobile sluice cleaner, designed for power plants that require long reach, high capacity and flexibility between multiple water intakes. With one mobile machine, multiple intakes can be served efficiently, providing better utilization of the investment and reducing the need for separate installations.

The hydraulic telescopic boom has a reach of up to 20 meters, while the 2.2 meter wide claw covers a large part of the intake gate in each work cycle. With a lifting capacity of 2,000 kg or more, the Balder XL handles large amounts of waste, heavy logs and other objects that can block the water flow.

A camera in the claw gives the operator a better view underwater and makes it easier to carry out precise and efficient cleaning. The robust machine has a total weight of 29 tons and is built for stable operation and demanding working conditions.

By keeping the inlets open, Balder XL contributes to better water flow, fewer downtimes and reduced production losses. Its mobility makes it possible to use the same machine in multiple locations, which can reduce both the investment requirement and overall operating costs.
