As water levels rise, the need for safe and effective intake cleaning increases. Enerquip's MBF-Flom is designed to maintain operations even under demanding flood conditions.
The unique feature of the MBF-Flood is that the machine is built with a higher and longer stem, so that all vital components and operationally critical parts can be placed above a defined flood level. This construction protects the machine from the water masses and reduces the risk of water damage, downtime and costly repairs.
At the same time, the machine can keep the weir clean when the water flow and the supply of driftwood are greatest. This contributes to a free waterway, reduced head loss and more stable power production during floods.
All Enerquip models can be delivered in MBF-Flom design and adapted to the power plant's intake, expected flood level and local operating conditions.
Advantages of MBF-Flood
